Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton reveals shocking truth behind his split with Tahnee Cook after being pictured out with other women

Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook shocked fans when they split earlier this month.

Seemingly one of the strongest couples to ever emerge from the series, viewers were understandably floored when they announced out of the blue that they’d broken up.

Now Ollie, 27, has shared the surprising reason behind the end of their relationship on his Tosser.

Despite being scientifically matched by a team of experts on MAFS, Ollie says that he and Tahnee actually had nothing in common and were completely incompatible.

‘I think Tahnee has some great qualities and I have so much respect for her and I still have love for Tahnee but at our core we are just really, really different,’ he explained.

‘Different not just in likes and hobbies, it’s not just in values, it’s not just in how we navigate our issues but our wants, our beliefs,’ Ollie continued.

‘As we spent more time together and dug deeper we realised that and that’s OK.’

He also said that they had both ‘fallen out of love’, adding that a ‘multitude of factors’ contributed to it.

Since their split, Ollie has been spotted leaving a Christmas party in Sydney with a glamorous brunette.

Tahnee, 27, confirmed their split last week with a lengthy post to her Instagram page, saying she had ‘genuinely found love’ with the voice actor but it just wasn’t meant to be.

‘Just as I share the highlights of my life on here, it’s only fair for me to share when things aren’t always fun,’ she wrote.

‘Sadly, Ollie and I have decided to part ways. Our lives are taking us in different directions and we feel at this stage it’s the best decision for us,’ she continued.

‘From meeting as strangers who got “married”, to genuinely finding love, I’m pretty proud of the time we’ve shared.

‘Our journey together has been such a roller coaster but sometimes relationships just don’t work out – no matter how much you want them to – and that’s okay.’
