But instead of toning down his bizarre antics this week, he shocked his bride Ashley with even more strange habits while on their honeymoon.
Perplexed viewers couldn’t fathom how someone could possibly act like that in real life and so quickly took to social media to accuse the goofy groom of being an actor.
In Tuesday’s episode, Troy raised eyebrows when he left Ashley in the middle of the road after suddenly feeling a urge to run back to their hotel to do push-ups.
He continued to puzzle his ‘wife’ by hamming it up with a crocodile at a wildlife park and, later, by awkwardly patting Ashley’s head while intensely staring in her eyes.

Another had a similar view, insisting: ‘This Troy fella is trying way too hard and over acting. Trying to get himself a career after the show! No one is that weird’.

While many commented that Troy must be an actor, others thought he was actually attempting to conceal something else.
‘I swear Troy is some kind of test to see how alien life forms could fit into our society’ one viewer wrote.
‘Good luck understanding Troy, Ashley. I am pretty convinced he is an alien trying to mimic human behaviour, but is kinda missing the mark.’
