An Australian MAFS star has shared the five affordable beauty products she has been using on a high rotation while holidaying in Europe this summer.
Makeup artist Martha Kalifatidis, 33, left her Bondi Beach digs in May to set sail for Italy, where she is currently spending time with her fiancé Michael Brunelli.
As a beauty aficionado she brought plenty of skincare and makeup products but has found herself turning to the same five products in the humid weather.
On Sunday evening she shared these prized possessions on her Instagram Story, starting with Avene’s Thermal Spring Water ($22.99).

‘This will save your skin on your flight and while you travel. European water is so hard it will destroy your skin and hair. I spray my face and body with this after a shower. It’s a saviour. Also nice if you keep it in the mini bar fridge,’ she explained.
Martha also said it can be used as a facial spritz before applying serums and moisturiser.
Next on her list is L’Oreal’s Elvive Dream Lengths Mask ($9.49), which she describes as one you can easily ‘churn through’ because of the price.
‘I put this in before I swim. Also perfect for a slick bun, plus it smells divine. The L’Oreal Elvive range is actually elite, there are a few things in the range worth trying,’ she said.

For those still struggling with their hair while on vacation Martha recommends Akin’s Scalp Scrub ($10.97), which rivals one produced by French brand Christophe Robin.
‘If you haven’t used a scalp scrub yet you don’t know what clean hair is, there I said it,’ she explained.
‘It leaves you with the perfect amount of volume, your hair is so clean it feels like a baby’s. Great for super active people who sweat a lot and don’t wash their hair all that much. Also if you have an oily scalp or flaky scalp get this yesterday.’
For her face Martha has been loving the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 ($14.96), which she described as ‘magic in a bottle’.

‘Everyone, every skin type, any age and skin concern will benefit from this cream. I use it daily on everything. Definitely wear this on your flight,’ she said.
Her final tip was to ‘not leave Australia without sunscreen’ because the protective creams overseas are just ‘not the same’.
Martha uses Naked Sundays Mineral Sunscreen ($39.95) during the warmer months and the collagen SPF version, which is super lightweight, in winter.
‘I made the mistake of using a sunscreen I bought over here one day,’ she said, before showcasing a shocking sunburn she had developed.
