Martha Stewart celebrates 83rd birthday at 2024 Paris Olympics with a surprise from Snoop Dogg and Cookie Monster

Martha Stewart received a fun surprise from Snoop Dogg and Cookie Monster for her 83rd birthday.

In celebration of the entrepreneur’s birthday on August 3, the rapper teamed up with Cookie Monster to present her with a special cake at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Snoop Dogg, 52, recruited the blue muppet to help him surprise his longtime pal with a cone-shaped cake made out of macarons the day before her birthday. 

The musician, who had a hilarious reaction to Simone Biles’ qualification performance last Sunday, and Cookie Monster are special correspondents covering the Olympics for NBC.

In a clip posted by Access Hollywood, the duo joined forces for the surprise, which had Cookie Monster popping up from behind a table.

‘Martha! Hi! Happy birthday,’ Cookie Monster said.

‘Oh! How are you? You’re so gorgeous,’ Stewart replied. 

‘Thank you. You, too,’ Cookie responded. 

Snoop Dogg then jumped in. ‘Cookie Monster! What’s happening, baby?’ 

Cookie Monster began rapping and spelling out their names, noting the similarities with the double letters. 

‘We got D-O-double-G meets C-double-O-K-I-E.’ 

Laughter filled the room before Cookie Monster shared that they had a birthday cake for her.

‘Martha, we brought you a birthday cake. You’re going to love it. It’s all cookies. Bring it in.’

Stewart gushed: ‘Oh, Cookie Monster, you’re so sweet.’ 

‘Cookie Monster, what are you doing here?’ ‘I’m here for your birthday. Also for the Olympics.’ 

In another TikTok video shared by the outlet, Cookie Monster joined Snoop Dogg in showing off their moves to the rapper’s 2004 hit Drop It Like It’s Hot.

This comes shortly after Snoop Dogg and Stewart reunited at the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

On the same day, Snoop Dogg brought along Stewart on TODAY for an outfit analysis of what he has worn to the games. 

The rapper and the have been longtime friends for over two decades since they met in 2008 while filming a cooking segment for The Martha Stewart Show.

The longtime friends are also teaming up to cover the Olympic dressage competition on August 3, Stewart’s birthday. 

‘Snoop called me, and he knows I love horses,’ she told TODAY. ‘He’s a little fearful of horses.’

‘I’m still scared of horses,’ the rapper confirmed, noting that he’s never tried to ride a horse.

‘We’re going to have so much fun,’ Stewart shared. ‘It’s been so much fun in Paris. This has been the most exciting Olympics.’
