Martha Stewart uses Uber for first time and BLASTS experience saying car ‘was a mess inside and out’

Millienials have turned ridesharing services into one of the most-used transportation options over the past half-decade.

And Martha Stewart finally decided to see what all the fuss was about on Monday, when she ordered her first Uber.

Unfortunately, the 77-year-old television personality had a less than optimal experience while attempting to get around Manhattan.

‘My very first Uber! I ordered the most expensive version to pick me up on Fifth Avenue and 57th street in front of Tiffany’s,’ explained Martha via a post on Instagram.

‘The first Uber did not show up The second Uber came ten minutes later and parked halfway down 57 th street where I could not see the license plate.

‘Then we were facing east when I had to go west and south.’

A little over a week ago, Martha joined Jessica Simpson, 38, to help throw a Friendsgiving in support of No Kid Hungry—a non-profit organization that fights to end childhood hunger.

The two filmed cooking tutorials for fans who’d like to try their hand at Stewart’s timeless recipes.

No Kids Hungry is supported by a slew of celebrities including Kristen Bell, Ayesha Curry, and Jeff Bridges.

‘I’ve been supporting No Kid Hungry for quite some time now. It all started when I became a mom,’ Curry told ET in a recent interview. ‘What people don’t realize is that here in the United States, one in six children go hungry, right in our backyards.

‘NKH goes into the school systems and provides meals for all children in the classrooms. What happens when kids are fed, [they] are healthy and thriving, they have better test scores, and they have a brighter future and a better chance at life.’
