Celebrity MasterChef: Dame Mary Berry will grill contestants in special guest appearance as they recreate Bake Off judge’s famous recipes
Dame Mary Berry will grill the Celebrity MasterChef contestants as the semi-finals get underway next Thursday.
The September 8 instalment of the famous BBC food show will feature the former Bake Off matriarch in a special guest appearance.
The semi-final will see the seven remaining cooks trying to recreate Mary’s recipes.

The famous chefs will be trying to impress Gregg Wallace, John Torode and Mary to reach the final.
Dame Mary Berry says of her appearance: ‘I can’t wait to see these talented MasterChef semi-finalists bring my dishes to life and hopefully they are recipes they would enjoy making at home too.
‘They need to remember though that I’ve got eyes in the back of my head.

‘They may think I’m not watching but I will be…’
Love Island star Faye Winter, Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones, actor Ryan Thomas and McFly singer Danny Jones were announced last month as being among the celebrities taking part in the series.
Joining them in the BBC One show has been TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, former EastEnders star Cliff Parisi, and star of The Choir Gareth Malone.

Broadcast over six weeks, the stars are tackling a series of cookery challenges to follow in the footsteps of reigning champion Kadeena Cox and win the coveted MasterChef title.
This year’s crop of 20 celebrities, joined again by judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace, also include former boxing champion Chris Eubank, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, former pro-footballer Jimmy Bullard and comedian Paul Chuckle.
Former EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood was also among the contestants, along with former All Saints band member Melanie Blatt, comedian Kae Kurd and RuPaul’s drag race UK star Kitty Scott-Claus.
Semi-finals week, featuring Dame Mary Berry, will TX across BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Tuesday 6th, 9pm, Thursday 8th, 8pm and Friday 9th September, 8.30pm.
