Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary enjoyed a festive road trip up to Cairns with the Manchester City star’s famly.
The duo, who have recently been on a romantic getaway in Europe, have both returned to Australia to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve with their families.
Cleary, who steered Penrith to their fourth-consecutive premiership last season, also recently underwent surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury and was seen without his arm sling on as he and Fowler and several family members took a hike through a woodland area.
Among the group was Fowler’s brother Seamus and her sisters Ciara and Louise as well as their mother Nido.
Ciara also plays football professionally, having represented the Republic of Ireland’s at age-grade level, while also playing for Adelaide United.
The group were also seen relaxing by a woodland creek with Cleary stopping to pose for a snap beside the river.

Cleary and Fowler are both back in Australia, with the pair having spent some time in Europe in recent months
Fowler also posted pictures of her family, Cleary and a group of friends celebrating the New Year on her Instagram story, writing: ‘Happy New Year.’
She captioned the Instagram post: ‘Cairns with the crew.’
Cleary and Fowler were also pictured stopping off at the iconic Big Mango on their road trip to Far North Queensland.
The pair have been taking every opportunity to spend time together between their busy schedules.
In December, the sporting power couple enjoyed a low-key trip up to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, where they watched the sun set over Tallebudgera Creek.
Fowler is currently on a winter break with City set to return to WSL action against Ipswich on January 12.
Cleary is yet to return to pre-season training as he recovers from shoulder surgery and is anticipating a three-to-four-month lay-off.
‘It’s pretty much a three or four-month recovery, so it’s been good so far,’ he said.

‘I’m slowly ticking the boxes, and then it’ll start ramping up after Christmas,’ Cleary said.
‘I’m a little bit ahead of schedule, which is cool.’
Earlier this summer, Fowler and Cleary were spotted at Old Trafford watching Wigan Warriors beat Hull KR in the Super League Grand Final.
They were later seen exploring Manchester and several coastal towns in the UK before jetting out to Mallorca.
Cleary was also seen in Switzerland as Fowler travelled to face off against the Swiss national team in Zurich with the Matildas.
Fowler has enjoyed a great start to the 2024-25 season, netting two goals in her last four appearances for Man City.
