Horrifying moment a masked gunman executes a man by shooting him in the head at point blank range as he climbs into an Uber seconds after leaving a Queens karaoke bar

A hooded and masked gunman in blue surgical gloves executed a man at point blank range as he was climbing into an Uber in Queens on Tuesday evening.
The victim, 31-year-old Xin Gu, had left the Shangrila Karaoke bar on Fowler Street in Flushing just after 2.30am.
Footage from CCTV camera’s shows an Uber pulling over to let Gu in when man, seemingly a passerby, runs towards him from behind and pulls out a gun.

The unidentified gunman shot Gu once in the back of the head, police sources told the New York Post.
When Gu hit the ground, the man stood over him shot him multiple times as the Uber driver sped off.
Following the incident, the gunman fled and reportedly climbed into a white Honda sedan.

Gu, from Queens, was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Queens, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still looking for the gunman and have appealed for information.
The motive remains unclear but at this stage police believe Gu was targeted, NBC New York reported.
