Masked men armed with knives try to stab terrified Shoreditch clubbers in latest shocking footage from Lawless London

  • A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with stab wounds to his hands
  • He was arrested in connection to the affray outside Cargo nightclub yesterday
  • Bouncers quickly move in and appear to haul the men back as carnage erupts

This is the petrifying moment two masked knife-wielding thugs attempt to carry out a cold-blooded stab attack on East London clubbers.

In the early hours of yesterday bouncers scrambled to hold off the pair as they tried to plunge their blades into an unknown man standing outside Cargo nightclub on Rivington Street, Shoreditch.

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital – where he was arrested in connection to the fracas – for knife wounds to his hands which are not judged to be life threatening.

It is the latest knife attack in a spree of stabbings which has rocked the capital in recent months.

One of the men raises raises his right arm - thought to be grasping the knife - and lunges at someone in a white t-shirt, seemingly slashing inches away from him

Chaotic scenes filmed during the attempted stabbing show two people dressed all in black and wearing masks brandish their weapons in the crowded street.

A woman is heard screaming at security to ‘pull the shutter!’ as the masked men make their way towards the nightclub’s barriers.

One of the thugs then raises his right arm – thought to be grasping the knife – and lunges at someone in a white t-shirt, seemingly slashing inches away from him.

Bouncers quickly move in and appear to haul the men back as carnage erupts throughout the frantic crowd.

The video is believed to have been originally published on Snapchat with the caption ‘Stabbing outside Club’ before being widely circulated on social media.

In a devastating indictment on Lawless London, the capital’s 2019 murder toll hit 60 last week when a 42-year-old man was stabbed to death in Stratford.

He was the fourth person to be killed that weekend after one teenager was shot dead and another was stabbed to death on Saturday, following the fatal knifing of another man in Tower Hamlets last Friday.
