A couple born on the same day at the same Massachusetts hospital got married more than two decades later this month.
These two star-crossed lovers have a story that belongs in a fairy tale.
Jessica Gomes and Aaron Bairos were both born on April 28, 1990, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, about 40 miles south of Boston.
In 2007, they started dating at age 17, Jessica told DailyMail.com.
Ten years later on September 9, 2017, the now-27-year-olds got married.

Gomes says she and Bairos figured out they were born on the same day ‘pretty early on’ when they took a drivers education class together and saw the proof on their learner’s permits.
She says it was love at first sight.
‘I think it’s awesome. It’s a pretty rare thing,’ Jessica told the Taunton Gazette. ‘I believe in fate and I think that’s part of it.’
Aaron proposed to Jessica last year. She is a nurse practitioner and he works in sales and marketing. They plan to share many more milestones together in the future

When the teens told their parents about the coincidence, they said they even remembered meeting that day in 1990.
Jessica said there’s a photo of her in the nursery with a mystery baby in the background. It could well be Aaron, but his face is too blurry to be sure it’s him.
‘We’ve been trying to figure that out for years. We know it’s a boy because he’s wearing a blue hat,’ Jessica said.
Seventeen years after their ‘first date’ in the nursery, the two started dating officially. When they were teenagers, Aaron would call her almost every night after school, Jessica said.
Now Jessica is a nurse practitioner and Aaron works in sales and marketing, and they plan to share many more milestones together in the future.
‘They’re soul mates. They took their first breaths in the same hospital,’ family friend Dolores Milho said.
