Ed Sheeran has been tipped to perform at Glastonbury 2025.
The pop star, 33, last played the Worthy Farm festival in 2017 but it has now been reported that he could take on a ‘special slot’ on the Friday night before resuming his European tour.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Ed adores performing at Glastonbury and getting to sing to so many fans on a massive scale.
‘He hasn’t got any big UK gigs lined up next summer, so this would be really special.’
The insider also teased that because the Shape Of You hitmaker has so many celebrity pals, there is bound to be some special duets on stage in late June.

The source added: ‘He’s got loads of celebrity friends, so he is bound to have some famous collabs on stage with him if it comes off.’
The Thinking Out Loud singer last hit the famous stage eight years ago, where he headlined the Pyramid Stage and performed tracks such as Castle on the Hill and Lego House.
At the time, he headlined alongside Radiohead and Foo Fighters but joked he was a bit ‘out of place’ in the lineup.
He told the BBC: ‘I’m definitely the one that’s out of place on that list. But I think that’s an exciting thing!’
Little is known about the lineup for next year’s festival, but it was recently reported that bosses were trying to secure Eminem to headline.
Meanwhile, Oasis were thought to be filling the Legends slot amid their massive comeback but they insisted that was not the case.
Organiser Emily Eavis previously revealed that the festival will be taking a break the year after next, as is tradition to take a year off after every four or five stints.
She told Glastonbury Free Press: ‘We’re taking a fallow year in 2026 to give the land a rest.
‘And the festival before a fallow year is always a fun one to plan because you almost have to fit two years into one.’

Earlier this year, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA were the three headliners, whilst country star Shania Twain took on the Legends slot.
Next year, Ed will take his Mathematics Tour around Europe, but after the release of his studio albums +, ÷, x, = and – insisted that he is ‘done’ with Maths-themed titles.
Speaking on the Australian ‘Carrie Tommy’ podcast, he said: ‘That’s it. There’s only five.
‘The other one will be out before I come to New Zealand [and Australia] to do the tour.”
