The bespectacled cookbook author sported a black blouse, matching cardigan and snake-print trousers.

She completed her casual look with lace-up boots and a brown leather tote bag.

During her appearance on Kyle and Jackie O, Julie took part in an X-rated quiz segment called ‘Food or Fetish’.

She was tasked with identifying whether a mystery audio clip was of a person eating something or if it was the sound of a taboo sex act.

The sounds included the noise of slurping noodles, macaroni and cheese being stirred, someone licking the inside of another person’s ear, and a penis’ foreskin being rolled back.

‘I feel a bit violated,’ she joked after the game was over.

It comes days after she won her first immunity pin during last week’s episode of MasterChef Australia.

The author impressed the judges with a Middle Easter-inspired lamb dish featuring eggplant puree, smoked tomatoes and pickled chilli and capsicum.

‘I did not expect this, I didn’t expect it at any stage this week so I am over the moon,’ Julie told the judges after they awarded her the immunity pin.
