When it comes to her go-to room service order, Poh goes for a classic.

‘I get all the sides. Wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Yes, I do! Then the salad and steamed veg. I know. Weird.’

In the footage, Poh is seen sprinkling some tomato slices with the smoked salt before telling fans the dish will now taste extra yummy.

She explained in the comments section that her food secret ensures the salad staple maintains its taste, especially during Australia’s particularly hot summers.

‘The tomatoes are not happy this year. Too much rain and humidity, but I’ll take what I can get,’ she wrote next to the photos.

Adding smoked salt to tomato slices can enhance the flavour of the fruit by imbuing it with a distinctive smoky and savoury tang.
