Matildas stars show how unimpressed they are with one of their Paris Olympics outfits in hilarious video

  •  Matildas teammates poked fun at one outfit in particular

Matildas teammates Mackenzie Arnold and Alanna Kennedy have revealed how unimpressed they are with one of their new Olympic outfits in a hilarious video.

Australia’s favourite sporting team have arrived in France to complete their preparations for the Olympics ahead of this week’s Paris opener with Germany.

However, it seems that they aren’t excited about the Team Australia outfits that they’ve been gifted to wear in one of the world’s true fashion capitals.

Aussie goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold uploaded a video of herself and defender Alanna Kennedy posing awkwardly while wearing the green and gold pleated skirts with green and gold tops, which look like tennis outfits.

‘POV: Olympic gear arrived,’ Arnold captioned the clip.

The pair mouth the words to the popular TikTok sound, ‘Let’s f***ing go…? Let’s go. I guess?’

The sound has become a popular reaction meme to being unenthusiastic about something, but doing it anyway.

On Sunday it was revealed that the Matildas had lost a lot of their luggage – including medical equipment – while flying to France from Spain.

Arnold (left) and Ferguson (right) did not seem at all keen to be seen in the tennis-like outfits they received as part of their gifts when they arrived at the Athletes Village

Chef de mission Anna Meares outlined just how important the gear is the squad.

‘Tape, strapping, scissors. They are also missing their re-sus kit, as well,’ Meares told media.

‘These are things that are critical to performance, that we’re acquiring for them … in Marseille.’

But Meares believes the squad will overcome the setback, despite the Matildas first match being less than a week away.

The Matildas, who have never won a medal at the Games, take on Germany on Friday at 3am (AEST).

Following that match, they’ll go up against Zambia on Monday at 3am (AEST).
