They were last in Byron Bay in April, when their six-year-old daughter Stella was stung by a jellyfish and attended to by paramedics.
But despite that unfortunate incident, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso have returned to the coastal New South Wales town for another holiday.
The Hollywood couple were spotted leaving a local café on Tuesday, packing on the PDA as they enjoyed some quality time away from the spotlight.

Luciana looked causal but stylish in a flowing blue maxi-skirt, which she teamed with a tight white T-shirt.
She had her short lock out and in loose waves, and wore aviator shades.
Matt meanwhile, looked relaxed in black shorts and a navy T-shirt, with the pair carrying out some food.

Early last year, Matt and his family were enjoying a trip to a local beach when Stella was stung by a jellyfish.
Matt recently said on Ellen that incident was rather scary, as paramedics were called to the scene, at The Pass.
At the time, Matt and Luciana’s friends – locals Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky – were at the beach with them.

‘It was the worst thing,’ Matt said.
‘I mean, even Chris said, “Mate, that’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life.” Like, it was really bad.’
He added: ‘She had these, it looked like red shoelaces around her body.’
Elsa Pataky recently spoke about the situation – telling The Project they weren’t sure if you’re meant to wee on the sting as per the myth.
‘No we didn’t I know everyone says that and the kids were saying “that’s what you’re supposed to do’ and we’re like ‘well we’re not sure about that,” Elsa said.
