Matty J’s brother asks Elise how many loves she has had

She’s pulling out all the steps to impress Matty Johnson.

And as The Bachelor made his final choice on Thursday night’s episode, Elise Stacy was trying her best to impress Matty’s family.

But Matty’s older siblings weren’t pulling any punches when deciding if she was the one, with brother Tom asking how many sexual partners she has had and if she wanted to get married.

After some friendly introductions to Matty’s mum and three brothers, older brother Tom pulled Elise aside for a very awkward grilling.  

‘Tom came in like a train,’ Elise exclaimed in a voiceover.  

‘I have some concerns just with Matt, obviously being the brother and looking back, you know, on the last series, watching him going through massive heartbreak,’ Tom began.

Shocked: A shaky Elise replied: ‘I’ve had two significant relationships, but I think …’

‘And, like, have you had many lovers in the past at all?’

Shocked, a shaky Elise replied: ‘I’ve had two significant relationships, but I think …’

So, only two?’ Tom interrupted.

‘Two big ones,’ Elise answered, defensively.

Tom continued to fire questions at an overwhelmed Elise, asking: ‘If Matt were to pick you, would it be a six-month thing? Why would Matt want to be with you? Why do you think your connections are with him?’

‘Is there marriage in the future?’ He continued. 

‘I have a clear idea of what I want and the kind of person what I need in a relationship and Matt and I want the same things in life and we’re excited by the same things, which is really great,’ Elise replied. 

Fortunately, Elise received a much warmer reception from Matty’s mum, who instantly warmed to her.

‘Elise – she’s a very gentle soul who wears her heart on her sleeve,’ Matty’s mother said afterwards.

‘I didn’t expect to connect with her so quickly, but it was truly genuine and effortless.’ 

Making his final choice: Matty had called on his family to help him make his decision
