- The foodie tops the meal with two delicious sauces
Foodies have been left drooling at a woman’s McDonald’s hack she used to make her own loaded fries.
Lauren Griffiths, from the UK, combined pieces of a cheeseburger as well as mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders with a large serving of fries and topped the creation with sweet and sour and curry sauces.
Despite some of the ingredients she used not currently being available on Macca’s Aussie menu, the hack caught the attention of thousands of Australians.
The mozzarella sticks and curry sauce were last available at Australian restaurants in July of last year for a limited time however many are hoping for their return.
McDonald’s fans called Lauren’s loaded fries trick, which she tried and customised after seeing it all over social media, ‘mouth watering’ as many were keen to try their own version.

Lauren combined a large fries with pieces of cheeseburger patties, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders then topped it with two delicious sauces
‘I could not not do this one,’ Lauren said in a TikTok video after she saw the loaded fries trend circulating online.
In a plastic container, Lauren poured in the contents of a large fries and torn up pieces of chicken selects.
While chicken selects also aren’t on the Australian menu, customers can swap them out for the take away giant’s chicken bites.
‘Then I got a double cheeseburger and I asked for extra pickles so this is the moment of truth,’ Lauren said before discovering she had only been given four pickle slices.
She scraped the onions, sauce and pickles from the burger on top of the fries and broke the two patties into small bites.
‘This is looking phenomenal, look how good that looks,’ she said.
Lauren then added pieces of the cheesy mozzarella sticks to the mix and closed the container lid to give the fries a shake and combine them with the sides and burger pieces.
Finally, she tops the mixture with sweet and sour as well as curry sauces before tucking in.
‘I cannot tell you how good this is, just amazing,’ Lauren said rating the meal a 10 out of 10.
‘I can see why this trend is going absolutely mad because it’s crazy.’
Lauren’s loaded fries hack amassed more than 4.3million views and sent foodies into a spin in the comments.
‘My mouth is WATERING,’ one woman replied.
‘One thing I hardcore miss from the UK is the sweet curry sauce from McDonald’s. We don’t have it in Australia,’ a second said.
‘Why have I never thought about this?’ asked a third.
‘I will try this with a fries, Big Mac (cut up in tiny pieces with scissors), nuggets and lashings of Big Mac sauce,’ a fourth wrote.
