McDonald’s fight: New footage shows argument which led to brawl

The argument which caused an epic brawl between staff and a customer at a Las Vegas McDonald’s has been revealed.

In new footage, customer Sabrinah Fontelar can be heard cussing at worker Erika Chavolla before throwing a French fry at the counter.

The video, obtained exclusively by Dailymail.com, shows Fontelar calling Chavolla a ‘b****’, a ‘fat a**’ and repeatedly telling her to ‘fight me.’

Moments later Chavolla, 24, charges out from behind the counter, ignoring a milkshake thrown at her head and a blow to the face from a metal tray, and begins brutally beating Fontelar in a video seen millions of times around the world.

‘It’s too late family, y’all f***ed up now, call ’em.’

The new footage begins with Fontelar shouting ‘F*** you ho,’ before saying something else that is inaudible.

‘That’s why y’all can leave,’ she says, before adding: ‘What are you going to do, fight me? Fight me b****.’

‘That’s why your fat a** is behind the f***ing counter,’ Fontelar says, before throwing a single French fry across the restaurant.

The staff can then be heard shouting ‘you can’t afford one’ before a child starts crying, obscuring the audio.

‘Get your personal fries…’ is the next thing that can be heard, but the rest of the sentence is inaudible.

Fontelar responds ‘I gave it to the…’ before another inaudible word, then adds: ‘What are you talking about?’

‘Don’t panic,’ she says, before adding: ‘It’s too late family, y’all f***ed up now, call ’em.’ The video then cuts out.

Another piece of footage then shows the fight itself.

The brawl was posted to social media by Nevada resident Marie Dayag, who said the fight started when the customer tried to put soda in a free water cup.

‘I wasn’t even going to hit her. When there’s a big girl coming towards her, she started freaking out.

‘Don’t talk about my momma!’ she added, laughing.

Chavolla said she was stunned the video had become such a viral hit.

‘That s**t was crazy, it went everywhere,’ she said, adding that she had also seen some of the negative comments about her size.

McDonald’s said it ‘does not condone the behavior depicted.’ DailyMail.com has also reached out to Las Vegas police, but has not received a response.

The original video shows the fight breaking out after as Fontelar hurls a milkshake at Chavolla.

Chavolla pushes Fontelar backwards on to a table before beating her in the face, before picking her up and throwing her over a table (right)

Chavolla then throws Fontelar over a second table (left) before telling her ‘my momma aint dead, you respect my momma’ before the footage cuts out

As Chavolla storms toward her, Fontelar picks up a metal tray and hits her in the head with it, but she barely notices.

Instead, Chavolla grabs Fontelar by the hair and begins raining punches down on her head and face.

Chavolla then picks her up and throws her over a nearby table as other employees and even a customer run over to try and break it up.

The pair are eventually separated as another McDonald’s worker tries to move Fontelar away, but she then begins fighting the other worker instead.

This restarts the brawl, with Fontelar beaten in the head and face a second time before Chavolla throws her over another table.

At one point Chavolla can be heard shouting ‘my momma aint dead, you respect my momma!’

Fontelar also picks up a chair and makes as if she is about to hit Chavolla, but is quickly disarmed having apparently given up all hope .

A few more angry words are exchanged but no more punches are thrown before the footage cuts out.
