McDonald’s has delighted fans by expanding its breakfast menu with a brand new roll arriving in UK restaurants this week.

The new meal will be served daily from 5am until 11am and contains 515 calories.

Similar to the fast food chain’s popular McMuffins, the roll contains sausage and egg, but rather than using a muffin the new dish is in a soft white bap and comes with a choice of sauces.

The roll costs £2.79, while a single sausage and egg McMuffin, or single bacon and egg McMuffin costs £2.59, and egg and cheese McMuffin would come to £2.19.

It comes weeks after the chain announced it would be expanding its Quarter Pounder with Cheese range with three variants of the classic fan favourite available at all stores across the UK.
