Australia’s biggest fast food giant has launched a massive statewide hiring blitz where a five-minute interview could land you one of 5,000 jobs up for grabs, no application required.

Mcdonald’s has positions for all ages and experience levels at its 260 stores across Victoria and will hold a hiring day this Saturday.

All job seekers need to do is to walk into any McDonald’s store across the state between 9am and 6 pm on May 28, where they’ll get a five-minute on-the-spot interview with a hiring manager.

Vacancies cover a wide range of skillsets with everything from managers and maintenance staff to baristas, and there are even jobs for students hungry for after-school or weekend work.

‘We just want people that want to work hard, they want to turn up on time, and look after our customers — be friendly,’

Applicants must be aged 15 years and over to be eligible. Under-18s must have parental consent.

‘Macca’s is an exciting place to work that provides great skills and training, incredible career opportunities and a supportive and flexible culture,’ McDonald’s market director Kelly Nardella said.
