In the now viral video Russ ‘announces’ the dessert.
‘Yes it is just going to be an overprice version of this,’ he said pointing to ice cream and Milo in a bowl.
‘This is Australian culture, this is the greatest dessert to exist in our lifetime so I can’t f***ing wait.’
The video began with a picture of what appears to be the restaurant’s promotion’s guide.
The picture showed two dates, the start date of the Milo McFlurry promotion, and the end date, November 7.
Russ’s fans appeared equally impressed with the announcement.
Yes it is just going to be an over price version of this,’ he said pointing to ice cream and Milo in a bowl
‘Holy shirtballs!! Mix it with some hot fudge sauce too or a flake to step it up. This should be a permanent addition,’ one man said.
‘This is a dream!’ said another.
‘I can’t wait for this, in the meantime I will make it at home.’
Some fans claim the restaurant started its McFlurry franchise with Milo.
‘This used to be the OG McFlurry when they first came out!!! No one remembers it! It was so good they used to add heaps of Milo.’
But this confused others.
‘Where in Australia are you because I clearly remember there being Oreo, M’n’M and Crunchie,’ argued one fan.
Another interjected: ‘And Nerds, they were elite.’
Others begged for Macca’s to add Milo to more of its products.
‘I want Milo thickshakes.’
