The form of bacteria, Listeria monocytogenes, could pose a risk in certain frozen meals if the food is not heated properly.
Meals on Wheels said it was working to ensure all its customers are notified of the recall.
The aged care company said it was working with South Australia Health while they identified the source of the bacteria.
More to come.
