Although vets said they’d have to amputate if Millie’s leg or worse, put her down, the Dieppes spent a fortune before approach California-based software company Autodesk.

Developers printed a prosthetic for Millie using the same software that is being used to develop printable prosthetic limbs for humans.

‘It’s a really good fit, it’s working really well,’ Mr Dieppe told Seven News. ‘She feels very comfortable in it.’

Mrs Dieppe campaigns and fundraises for rescue greyhounds in Asia and Australia.

Meanwhile, Millie shares her adventures on Instagram, where she’s known as ‘the bionic greyhound.’
