Meg Mac looks stylish in a black netted corset and white power suit as she belts out her hits at Out Of The Woods Festival

Australian singer-songwriter Meg Mac brought the house down as she performed at Out Of The Woods Festival in Fremantle, Western Australia, on Saturday.

Taking to the stage, the vocalist looked glamorous in a black netted corset top layered beneath a white suit jacket and matching trousers.

The fiery-haired songstress completed her look with a pair of drop pearl earrings, a silver ring and a dramatic makeup look.

Accompanied by a band and backup singers, the ARIA Award nominee belted out her hits into a hand-held microphone as the audience cheered and sang along.

Meg, born Megan Sullivan McInerney, recently released her third studio album, Matter of Time, which was nominated for Australian Album of the Year at the 2022 J Awards.

Meg announced the album in July 2022, revealing that she ‘took a risk and threw out an entire album and started again’ before finally settling on Matter of Time.

‘I wanted to just start again and do everything without compromise,’ she said.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Australia magazine about her decision to scrap the previous album she had written, Meg said: ‘I think the best way to explain it would be that I wasn’t in a good place when I was making it and so I think you can hear that.’

‘It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t right. I felt sick when I would think about it and when the first single was about to come out I finally snapped,’ she explained.

‘The moment that song was pulled I felt a wave of relief.’

Meg explained that only one track from the previous axed album made the cut, and it happened to be the title of the new album – a song called Matter of Time.

Her bold decision paid off, as Matter of Time went on to reah the top of the ARIA Albums Chart.

Meg will next perform at Yours & Owls Festival 2023 in Wollongong on October 15.
