Megan Barton Hanson revealed that she ‘cried’ for the majority of her lavish Marbella getaway as she shared a cryptic post about ‘toxic’ friends on Instagram on Tuesday.
The former Love Island bombshell, 29, admitted she had been so upset her ‘eyes were left looking like she was high’ from all the crying as she vows to only surround herself with ‘real friends’.
Megan, who has been in Spain for a month, said she thought she would return back to the UK ‘completely happy’ and out of the ‘little slump’ she was in before.
Alongside a gallery of stunning snaps from her trip, Megan said despite not being amazingly happy she has made ‘some huge realisations’.

‘Don’t get me wrong I had some fantastic days with the most special people but I genuinely thought I’d return home after the month and be completely happy and refreshed from the little slump I was in.
‘Instead I cried out there more than I ever have, spent half the trip with eyes looking like I was high. Despite not being 100% happy right now, I have come to some huge realisations.
‘Family is so much more important to me than I ever realised ❤️. It’s better to be alone than surrounded by toxic unhappy people. How important real friends are, how beautiful it is to be surrounded by positive, kind, inspiring people.’
She continued: ‘There is more important things than having a flat stomach and doing cardio daily. You don’t have to have all the answers RIGHT NOW, be kind to yourself and just try and improve a little each day. Don’t have such ridiculously high hopes (maybe)’.
In the snaps shared alongside the cryptic message, Megan sent temperatures soaring once again as she put on a leggy display in a blue dress.
She posed up a storm for a mirror selfie while showcasing her incredible figure in the one shoulder number which boasted an eye catching draping skirt.
The OnlyFans star added inches to her frame in a pair of towering gold heels and toted her belongings around in a coordinated bag.
She styled her long blonde tresses in luxurious waves as they cascaded down past her shoulders and accessorised with huge gold heart shaped earrings.

Megan also shared a snap of herself soaking up the sun on a sun lounger on the beach while enjoying a lavish cocktail.
In another picture, Megan showed off her small heart tattoo which was inked just below her bikini bottoms and had the words ‘eat me’ written inside.
The TV personality gave a glimpse into her huge villa in a final photo and uploaded several scenic photos of Marbella Old Town.
Her latest holiday comes after Megan did little to quash rumours of a reunion with her ex-boyfriend James Lock during a boozy lunch in Marbella.
Tongues started wagging after the pair were spotted looking very cosy in April but James confirmed to MailOnline that the pair ‘are just friends’.
Then, last month they were certainly not behaving like pals on Sunday afternoon as they were seen getting hot and heavy in Marbella.
James – who has dated the Love Island beauty on and off since October 2021 – said they still meet up from time to time and ‘enjoy each others company’ but insisted they are not getting back together.
The reality star revealed that Megan is ‘very much doing her own thing’ nowadays and he is very ‘happy’ doing his.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the launch event for his new brand We Are Levo, he said: ‘Me and Megan are just friends. That’s it we are just friends. That’s it.

‘I think sometime people see us together and say you can’t be friends with an ex. You can be, you can be friends with an ex. When I see her we enjoy each others company and we have a laugh, we have a drink, we reminisce about other things.
‘It’s not like you’re talking to an ex and your getting back with them, people jump to conclusions. She is very much doing her thing, I’m doing my thing and we’re both happy which is the main thing.’
Megan and James have been romantically linked since October 2021 when they were captured at Mayfair’s Amazonico restaurant, but split just two months after.
Since that, they have been known for their rocky relationship – constantly going on and off for a few years.
It comes after the recent romantic link between Megan and Demi Sims – after the bombshell admitted she wanted her next relationship to be with a ‘dominating woman’.
