A source gave an update on Megan Fox and fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s current relationship status.
The insider spoke to People and said the couple is ‘in therapy’ but the 36-year-old actress is ‘having a hard time trusting’ her partner.
It comes after last month the Midnight In The Switchgrass star uploaded a cryptic Instagram post with lyrics about ‘dishonesty,’ and deleted every photo of the rapper, 32, from her page.
‘This is really boiling down to not working,’ the person close to the duo dished to the publication.
‘There have been points where they haven’t been speaking — it’s been that bad.’

Another person added that they are ‘still working on their issues’ and ‘only time will tell if they get back together properly, but it looks pretty unlikely right now.’
It was noted that the twosome ‘always had kind of a tumultuous relationship’ that has ‘never been easy – it’s always been very up and down.’
‘Megan was thrilled when they got engaged, though. She really loves him,’ the closely affiliated source explained.
‘She was never one to casually date, so she put her whole heart into their relationship. She isn’t happy now, though. She took her engagement ring off a while ago, and it’s not back on.’
Megan has wiped her Instagram clean since the drama ensued, while MGK — born Colson Baker — posted as recently as Friday.
Taking to the content-sharing platform’s Stories he uploaded a black and white photo of himself looking at his reflection in his guitar and announced an upcoming documentary.
He wrote above the snapshot, ‘1 year since our first grammy nominated album came out.
‘I named it Mainstream Sellout to lighten the mood of such a gate keeping genre but words trivialize the true impact of it so I’ll be releasing a full length backstage / concert film in May before we begin our European tour to celebrate and reconnect with the fans who’ve watched our YouTube vlogs for the last decade.’

The two are believed to be ‘on a break’ and have put a pause on their wedding planning in order to work on their issues, just days after it was said they need a ‘significant breakthrough.’
However, the actress and pop-punk rapper are still in communication, according to Us Weekly.
Insiders told the publication earlier this week: ‘Megan and MGK are currently on a break but are still in contact. They are very hot and cold.’
‘Their relationship is pretty volatile at the moment. They are currently off, but still texting each other.’
Last week it was reported that their relationship was still on the rocks, and might need a ‘significant breakthrough’ in order to work.
Megan’s Super Bowl Sunday post included lyrics from Beyonce’s 2016 track Pray You Catch Me, a song about infidelity, alongside a sultry selfie and a photo of burning letters.
Shortly before the Instagram post and the deactivation of her account overall, both Megan and Kelly were spotted attending a Super Bowl party together in Arizona.
Not too long after her post, the Till Death star deactivated her Instagram page before quickly resurfacing to shut down rumors of a split and insisted that no cheating had occurred in their relationship.

The actress – who was recently spotted partying without her engagement ring – and the rapper-turned-rocker have reportedly been trying to save their romance after sparking break-up rumors.
‘[Megan] isn’t sure where things stand with Colson, and it’s complicated at the moment. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real deal,’ a source told the magazine.
‘That’s not something that just goes away overnight. However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work. It’s all up in the air right now.’
The dynamic pair — who got engaged in January 2022 after dating for over a year — reportedly had ‘a big fight’ over Super Bowl weekend in February.
