Megan Moroney is finally coming clean about her rumored romance with Morgan Wallen.

The Am I Okay? artist, 26, confirmed she dated the Voice alum, 31, but ‘never exclusively’ as she appeared on Wednesday’s episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

‘I have so tried to avoid that [question] in every single interview I’ve ever done,’ she said.

‘But we’re here now, and time has passed, and all is well still,’ added Moroney.

She later recounted, ‘Okay, so it was never a relationship. Here’s what I’ll tell you though. I haven’t told anyone this ever.

‘So him and I met in 2020, Jon Langston actually introduced us,’ revealed Moroney.

‘I was a senior in college. COVID hadn’t happened yet, his Dangerous album wasn’t even out yet.’

Moroney said, ‘We were friends for a long time, then we were not just friends, and now we’re friends.’

Although her 2022 single ‘Tennessee Orange’ is reportedly about Wallen, Moroney played coy when asked point-blank.

‘I won’t say who my songs are about ever,’ she said. ‘Well, I’ll never name names.’

Fans previously theorized that several lyrics were about Wallen when she dropped the track in December 2022.

Meanwhile, Moroney said she has ‘no idea’ if any of his songs are about her, as host Alex Cooper suggested she inspired his new track ‘Lies Lies Lies’.

The Lucky artist said it ‘wasn’t that hard’ keeping their relationship private. ‘I feel like he’s a very private person,’ said Moroney.

‘Like I said, we weren’t exclusively dating ever,’ she said, explaining both of their schedules were ‘insane.’

‘When we try to hang out, it’s like “Okay, we have this one day out of the whole month when we’re both maybe in town,”‘ explained. Moroney.

‘But him and I are friends,’ she added. ‘Honestly, because he’s such a private person, it just feels awkward to talk about.’
