Megan Thee Stallion’s entourage step between rapper and F1 legend Martin Brundle during interview

Megan Thee Stallion made the rounds when she attended the Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix 2021 in Austin, Texas on Sunday afternoon.

The typically affable rapper looked to be her usual friendly self while making the round on the grounds.

However the same can’t be said for a couple of guys in her entourage, who shunned Sky News’ Martin Brundle when he tried to get a quick impromptu interview.

Awkward: Sky News’ Martin Brudle had a run-in with Megan Thee Stallion’s entourage at the Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix 2021 in Austin, Texas on Sunday afternoon

Two crew members, with at least one being part of her security detail, made it extremely difficult for F1 icon Brundle to get an interview.

A video of the interaction, posted on Twitter, begins with Brundle making his way through the area where all the cars and pit crews were hanging out.

Within seconds Brundle, who also happened to be a former driver himself, spots Megan (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) and her crew making their way through the crowds.

The journalist goes up to the rapper, dressed in a custom black catsuit with sheer cutouts, and introduces himself, very cordially, all the while the group continues to walk through the busy area.

It’s at this point that the bodyguard reaches his right arm out as if to tell Brundle that his advance for an interview is not welcome.

Megan then seemingly lets the bodyguard know that’s she’s all good with the interview by tapping him on the shoulder.

‘Okay boss,’ Brundle says to the bodyguard, before directing his attention back to Megan.

‘You’re a freestyle rapper; have you got any rap for us today on Formula 1?

Megan then blurts out a big laugh and responds, ‘I have no rap today, sorry,’

When Brundle pressed further, and asked who she is supporting in the race, another young man, seemingly in her crew, got between the two and pushed Brundle back with his right hand and told him he 'couldn't do that'

Megan’s one-of-a-kind ensemble featured Cash App patches, with one highlighted on her famous backside,

The successful entertainer partnered with Cash App this past summer to help educate her fans about cryptocurrency.
