She’s best known for her role as feisty paralegal Rachel Zane in Suits, but one of Meghan Markle’s first roles was a case of art imitating life.
The stunning star played a glamorous divorcee called Meghan in an episode of comedy show ‘The League’ called ‘The Bounce Test’ in 2009, which has recently resurfaced online.
Meghan appeared in a bar scene and started chatting to one of the programme’s main characters Pete – played by actor Mark Duplass.
When she noticed he was wearing a wedding ring, she wasn’t happy but he explained his marriage was breaking up.
She told him, ‘I completely get it. I’m divorced too.’

In September 2011, Meghan wed her long-term boyfriend film producer Trevor Engelson on the beach in Ocho Rios, Jamaica but two years later their union broke down.
Meghan met Engelson in 2004 as they both scrabbled for a start in the entertainment industry and they were together for seven years before becoming man and wife.
Shortly before the wedding, Meghan had secured her big career break in the TV drama Suits and was already commuting between LA and Toronto to meet filming schedules. Engelson remained in the marital home to be close to Hollywood.
Within two years, it was clear the marriage was not going to survive their lengthy separations. A friend said: ‘It put a strain on the relationship. Trevor was in LA making movies, Meghan was in another country five hours’ flight away and it simply took its toll.’
