- The pair were said to be planning an interview about Ms Ragland and Meghan

Meghan Markle’s mother will not be filming an interview with Oprah Winfrey, it emerged today.
It had been rumoured that Doria Ragland was considering giving a tell-all interview to Oprah after she was seen at the world-famous talk show host’s £70million ($88million) ‘Promised Land’ mansion in Santa Barbara last month.
The appearance of Oprah at Saturday’s royal wedding prompted speculation that the interview could be filmed in the UK while the pair were both here.
But it emerged today that Ms Ragland is not planning to appear on air and Ms Winfrey was simply at the wedding as a friend of the royal couple.

It is said Oprah was invited to the wedding as a friend of the couple, a royal source said
Oprah, 64, is said to have spent six hours with Ms Ragland at her mansion on Saturday, April 28, before Ms Ragland was seen leaving, laden with gifts from the media mogul.
The appearance of Ms Ragland at the star’s home prompted fevered speculation she could be about to appear on one of Oprah’s shows or magazines.
But a senior royal source told MailOnline no such interview is in the pipeline and Ms Winfrey was at the ceremony as a friend.
Yoga instructor and social worker Ms Ragland flew into Britain on Wednesday, three days before the wedding, and was spotted crying in St George’s Chapel, Windsor ahead of her daughter’s arrival.
She was later seen catching up on some sleep as she was driven from the chapel to her daughter’s reception party.
