Jessica Mulroney has called for ‘truth and justice’ as she made an impassioned post about her Jewish faith after militant group Hamas unleashed surprise attacks on Israel this weekend.
The stylist, 43, took to Instagram as she shared a photo of herself at demonstration in Toronto, denouncing the attacks as she took a stand against anti-Semitism.
‘As a Jewish woman, I’ve enjoyed the relative safety of growing up and living in Canada,’ she penned.
‘However, I’ve felt the spectre of antisemitism around every corner. When a gunman shoots up a synagogue, there’s always a voice whispering “They had it coming.”
‘When white supremacists chant “Jews will not replace us”, those anti Jewish voices grow louder. And, two days ago, when Hamas terrorists killed more Jews in a single day than have been killed on any other day since the Holocaust, those voices of hatred reached a fever pitch.

‘Tonight in Mel Lastman Square, the Jewish people of Toronto, their leaders, friends and Allies said in one single voice, louder than any voice of hate: WE stand on the right side of history. WE stand for truth, WE stand for justice, WE stand with Israel.’
Jessica held an Israeli flag in the photo, looking at the camera amid a crowd of people gathered in the city.
It is not the first time Jessica has spoken out about her Jewish faith.
In 2020, she hit out at Kate Middleton fans who accused her of criticising the Duchess’ photos of Holocaust survivors.
Meghan Markle’s former best friend had released a statement on her Instagram saying she is a ‘proud Jewish woman’ with ‘family links’ to the Holocaust, calling critics ‘shameful and ‘uninformed’.
‘Pretty pictures are pretty pictures,’ she said. ‘Strive to use your platform for good and spread stories of incredible people striving to make this world a better place.’
What seemed like an innocuous comment was seized upon by some frenzied fans of Kate as a dig at then-Duchess, following the release of her portraits of Holocaust survivors.
Elsewhere, other A-listers, including Madonna, Natalie Portman and Ivanka Trump have also penned their support for Israel following the attacks on Saturday morning.

‘Love and prayers for the people of Israel,’ Ivanka, who converted to Judaism when she married her husband, Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, in 2009, wrote in a post on her Instagram Story.
‘What is Happening in Israel is Devastating. Watching all of these families and especially children being herded, assaulted and murdered in the streets is Heartbreaking. Imagine if this was happening to you?? It’s Un-fathomable,’ Madonna wrote in a post alongside a video showing the timeline of the recent terror attacks.
‘Conflicts can never be resolved with violence. Unfortunately, Humanity does not understand this Universal truth. My heart goes out to Israel. To Families and Homes that have been destroyed. To children who are lost. To Innocent Victims who have Been Killed. Let us all Pray. For Israel. For Peace,’ the legendary singer added.
Israeli-born Oscar-winner Natalie Portman wrote that her ‘heart is shattered for the people of Israel.’

‘Children, women and the elderly have been murdered and abducted from their own homes. I am in horror at these barbaric acts and my heart is pounding with love and prayer for the families of all affected,’ Portman, who disabled comments on her post, added.
Harrowing pictures of bruised and bloodied children fleeing from hellfire in Gaza and Israel show the devastating impact of the conflict which has killed over 1,500 people in just three days.
Hamas leaders last night threatened to execute civilian hostages if Israel continues its retaliatory airstrikes against Gaza.
The military wing of the Islamist group said it would kill a captive any time homes were hit ‘without prior warning’.
Israel has been pounding Gaza from the air after Hamas launched a surprise terror attack on Saturday, killing more than 900 people and seizing about 130 more.
Authorities in Gaza said Israel’s airstrikes had hit a refugee camp, a hospital and mosques, and had killed 687 people and injured a further 2,900.
As the bloody conflict enters its fourth day, shocking photos from the ground provide a horrifying insight into the atrocities taking place as both sides continue to trade blows and lives, with innocent children and civilians caught in the middle.
Desperate parents have been pictured cradling their children as they run through war-torn areas in search of medical assistance.
Other photos show bruised children receiving medical aid in hospitals, while young kids have been seen looking lost as they navigate through the rubble and clamber through the billowing smoke to safety.
Images too harrowing to publish show heartbroken parents carrying the bodies of innocent children who have lost their lives at a tragically young age during the conflict.
Heartbroken parents have also had to bury their innocent children who have no role in the bloody violence.
