Meghan Markle’s estranged sister hopes to be invited to her wedding if she marries Prince Harry, but says there is a deep ‘divide’ between herself and the American actress.
Samantha Markle, 52, claimed misleading news reports were to blame for the highly-publicised rift with her half-sister – as she discussed a potential royal wedding.
‘I was quoted as calling her ”Princess Pushy”. I never said those words, the truth is I never said any such thing,’ Samantha told the Sunday Night program.

‘The tabloids really milk that for all it’s worth, so it created a divide between Meghan and I… and I think I was just hurt.
‘Their wedding, I would love to go, but we have no idea what’s going to happen.’
Last month Samantha admitted she hadn’t spoken to Meghan for years and said she won’t be offended if she doesn’t score an invite to the potential wedding.
‘I don’t know if I would be hurt and out of love and respect I would go; of course I would go… We’ll see if I get an invite,’ she told Good Morning Britain.

She also described Meghan, who is widely tipped to marry Harry next year after she met the Queen last month, as ‘lovely, animated, charming.’
‘In my view you are either sisters or not and she’s my sister. She’s absolutely lovely.
‘She’s strong, educated and graceful and she will be a compliment to her work. The British people and the world will be surprised by how graceful and lovely she is.
‘She will bring so much to her role as part of the royal family. The world will be surprised.’
