First, Megyn asked Suzanne whether she and Alan really do have sex every day, which Suzanne states in her most recent book.
Suzanne confirmed, calling her husband an ‘animal’, and added in what appeared to be an attempt at humor: ‘Sometimes I’m not awake for it, though.’
The assertion drew laughs from Megyn, Alan and the crowd. Megyn herself then joined in on the joke, adding: ‘Alan’s like, “Those are some of the best times!” ‘ to which Alan replied: ‘Fine by me!’
Everyone kept giggling, with Megyn interjecting ‘It doesn’t matter’, when the exchange escalated to the next level.
In a bizarre admission, Suzanne revealed that she and Alan were recently in Canada visiting a friend who works as a trial lawyer and was working on a rape case.

As it happens, having sex with a spouse while they are asleep is not only illegal in Canada.
Spousal rape in itself has been banned in all 50 States since 1993, and having sex with an asleep spouse is clearly defined as rape in the penal code of the state of California, where Suzanne and Alan reside.
Section 262 of the code reads: ‘Rape of a person who is the spouse of the perpetrator is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished under any of the following circumstances […]
‘Where a person is at the time unconscious of the nature of the act, and this is known to the accused. As used in this paragraph, “unconscious of the nature of the act” means incapable of resisting because the victim meets one of the following conditions […]
(A) Was unconscious or asleep.’
But neither Megyn, Suzanne or Alan acknowledged this, and the interview carried on with Megyn praising the couple for their ‘partnership in love and lust’.
