Megyn Kelly leaves audience stunned as she describes horror of transgender surgeries to Bill Maher

Podcaster and journalist Megyn Kelly stunned the audience during her appearance on Bill Maher’s Real Time show on Friday night as she laid out the facts about children changing their sex.

Audible gasps could be heard coming from the usually liberal audience members, with many seemingly recoiling in disgust.

‘What we’re doing to our children with this trans insanity. We are chopping off the healthy body parts of young children,’ Kelly began, while the audience took in its collective breath.

Kelly was quick to respond: ‘Oh god. 100 percent we are doing that.’

Maher agreed saying, ‘We are definitely doing that. That’s what it is. I don’t know what the oo-ing is about.’

‘Pay attention because I’m about to give you a truth bomb – kids who are suffering from bullying or who have been sexually assaulted, or who are going through normal puberty and feel uncomfortable in their bodies, will say to their parents, “I’m not sure maybe I’m gender confused,’ Kelly explained.

‘They will send them into a psychiatrist or a psychologist. We’re told, you must affirm. Affirm is the only standard. And so the child gets told “you’re right. You are secretly a boy or vice versa.”‘

Kelly explained the types of medication that children have to take and its effects.

‘The child gets put on puberty blockers into cross-sex hormones, which sterilize a child and deprive the child of any chance of sexual pleasure for the rest of his or her life,’ Kelly went on.

‘We’re talking about nine, ten, 11-year-olds who cannot give informed consent. Then they have body parts chopped off by a medical establishment and by parents who mean well, but believe in these doctors and they shouldn’t,’ Kelly explained before explaining how many who undergo the process live to regret it.

‘When they inevitably get past the awkwardness of puberty and they want to turn around and de-transition those who love bomb them on Reddit saying, “come on in, the water’s fine” abandon them, they are depressed, they have changed their bodies forever in a way that is irreversible.

‘And we are all sitting back saying “it’s a remote issue” as Kamala Harris said. It’s not remote. It’s the issue of our time, both with respect to children and women’s rights.’

Vice President Kamala Harris has embraced many the sensitivities of transgender community including on issues of gender.

She has publicly proclaimed her gender pronouns (she/her) during events where transgender people are present, becoming the first vice president of the United States to do so.

Her campaign has also signaled its intention to include transgender people by giving the option for applicants to select nine different genders.

During an interview with NBC earlier this week, when asked whether Americans should have access to gender-affirming care – an issue Trump has criticized her for supporting on the campaign trail – the vice president refused to answer.

‘I think we should follow the law,’ Harris said before complaining that ‘Donald Trump’s campaign has spent tens of millions of dollars…’

Journalist Hallie Jackson refused to back down, telling Harris: ‘They’re trying to define you on this, I’m asking you to define yourself, though, just broadly speaking, what is your value? Do you believe they should have that access?’

But Harris stuck to the script by responding that ‘on this issue’ federal law states doctors are allowed to make a decision based on what is ‘medically necessary.’

‘I’m not going to put myself in a position of a doctor,’ she said.

Jackson then pressed her a third time, determined to get a clear response on the issue.

‘I believe that all people should be treated with dignity and respect, period, and should not be vilified for who they are, and should not be bullied for who they are,’ Harris declared. ‘And that is a true statement for me my entire career. And that has not changed.’
