Megyn Kelly’s dystopian prediction for America if Kamala wins: ‘Insanity on steroids’

No matter who is elected president on Tuesday, America is in for a rough ride, says Megyn Kelly.

But, if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the White House, the veteran journalist paints a truly dystopian vision of the country’s future.

A Harris victory ‘would just be such a dark day’, Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview with just days to go before the 2024 election.

For one, Kelly – who hosts The Megyn Kelly Show – has no faith that Harris would confront the country’s raging illegal immigrant crisis.

‘How are we going to stem the flow of illegals into this country?’ Kelly asks. ‘[Harris is] not interested in doing that at all, the same way her boss was not interested in doing that.’

A Kamala Harris victory, ‘would just be such a dark day,’ Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview with just days to go before the 2024 election.

Kelly also insists that Harris has not expressed a willingness to remove any of the estimated 10 million illegals who have crossed into the U.S. over the last four years.

‘She hasn’t even pretended that she’s going to get rid of even the worst criminal elements, the Venezuela gang members. She hasn’t even pretended she’s going to deport them,’ Kelly said. ‘That really does fundamentally transform the country into something very dangerous.’

And all that is just the tip of the iceberg, she warns.

‘Trans insanity will explode on steroids,’ says Kelly who frequently decries the left’s progressive transgender ideology.

Indeed, Harris has yet to say whether she’d halt taxpayer-funded sex change operations for inmates – something she previously backed during her failed 2020 presidential campaign.

When Harris was recently pressed on the matter, she would only say that, as president, she would ‘follow the law’, which currently allows for such procedures to be financed by public monies.

As for Americans experiencing the worst price inflation in 40 years, Kelly cautions that Harris offers little chance for relief.

‘Our economy is going to remain stalled, and our taxes are going to go up,’ Kelly says. ‘I think all the pie-in-the-sky plans that she threw out there like candy for these leftists, not one of them will get passed.’

That said, Kelly is under no illusions regarding Trump’s likely response to an election loss.

‘He would take it very poorly,’ Kelly predicts, though she expects him to handle the disappointment better than he did in 2020. ‘I think being the sitting incumbent and being fired is worse than being the outsider.’

‘I don’t think he’ll say he lost fairly,’ she says. ‘We’ll see about actual election cheating. He’ll probably allege it without evidence, as we saw last time.’

Should the election go the other way, however, Kelly warns that Democrats will do ‘everything they can’ to block Trump from being inaugurated a second time.

‘We will have from November 5 to mid-January, [Democrats] trying to figure out a way to stop him from actually being sworn in and taking the oath of office,’ she says.

‘It will revolve mostly around lawfare and trying to get declarations that he’s an insurrectionist, something along those lines.’

And after all that, says Kelly, America would be in for four years of a Democrat ‘nervous breakdown’.

In that case, America’s future would be riding on the power balance in the House and Senate.

Kelly believes the Democrats will launch multiple Congressional investigations if Trump wins – and will try to impeach him a third time within the first month of his second term.

This ‘nervous breakdown’ scenario gets even darker if those attempts fail.

The losers, she says, will ‘try to undermine [Trump] every step of the way… they will stymie Trump’s agenda, same as the Republicans would try to stymie [Harris’s agenda].’

In a reference to Democrats wildly comparing Trump to Hitler in recent days, Kelly says: ‘The dark hyperbole will persist – I’m not sure how you can go next-level on Trump. Jeffrey Dahmer? Charles Manson? Let’s see how where they take it. They’ll try to one-up themselves, and it’ll be constant, and the media will be complicit. It’ll be a lot for us to take just to open the paper in the morning.’

Kelly suggests that mainstream media has already shown its hand – especially in its coverage of claims made against Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff.

The second gentleman faces two grave allegations reported exclusively by the Mail.

First, that Emhoff cheated on his first wife with their daughter’s nanny and allegedly impregnated her.

No one from the Harris campaign, the Emhoff camp, or the nanny’s circle have denied any part of the story. Emhoff has since admitted the affair.

Second, Emhoff has also been accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend in the face in public.

An unnamed representative for Emhoff has said that the report is ‘untrue’ and that ‘any suggestion that [Emhoff] would or ever hit a woman is false.’

‘Thank God for the Daily Mail,’ Kelly said. ‘[The slap allegation has] been absolutely ignored by every media outlet and every politician left of center. It’s been absolutely abhorrent.’

‘There’s only one reason this one didn’t get coverage, and it’s because it’s Kamala Harris’s husband… It totally undermines the story they’ve been trying to sell us about this guy being our new version of masculinity.

But it’s not all doom and gloom in this experienced journalist’s view. She is excited about the prospect of a Trump presidency and the ‘Marvel cast’ of new talent that he may bring into the federal government if he wins, like entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

It’s an interesting panoply of generals he’s bringing in,’ Kelly says. ‘Political generals like, Elon Musk, who is promising he’s going to find efficiencies in government. We’re slimming down a federal government that’s far too bloated, that’s joyous to think about.’

On Tuesday, November 5, Kelly will be hosting a panel of experts on her show. Her guests will include the Mail’s Maureen Callahan and prominent conservative pundits, like The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro.
