Mel Gibson looked unrecognizable at Vince Vaughn’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday.
The 68-year-old veteran actor was seen with gray hair and a scruffy beard for the event.
Gibson – who is best known for his Lethal Weapon franchise – also was much more dressed down than other attendees.
He had on a white collared shirt and long ombre blue shorts that went to his knees. For added comfort, the Mad Max star wore black lace-up sneakers.
Most of the time the father of nine children had black mirrored sunglasses on that made him difficult to recognize.
Vince, 54 – who will be starring in the series Bad Monkey that debuts this week – wore a dark suit and white shirt as he posed with his wife Kyla and their two children.

Mel and Vince costarred in the 2018 thriller Dragged Across Concrete.
Gibson posed with Vaughn by his new Walk Of Fame star and at one point opened his brown cell phone case to take a selfie; his driver’s license photo could be seen as well as his Visa card.
Gibson – born Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson – was born in New York by moved to Australia at age 12.
He is known for his action hero roles, particularly his breakout role as Max Rockatansky in the first three films of the post-apocalyptic action series Mad Max.
And he is also popular for playing Martin Riggs in the buddy cop action-comedy film series Lethal Weapon.
One of his biggest standouts is 1995’s Braveheart. He also won raves for his 2004 movie The Passion Of Christ.
Monday was all about Vince as he will soon debut his new high-profile series.
Vaughn’s new Apple TV+ show Bad Monkey kicks off on Wednesday.
The first trailer for the series, which also stars Michelle Monaghan and John Ortiz, debuted earlier this month.

He is the creator of the series Scrubs and co-creator of shows including the live-action Cougar Town, Spin City, Ground Floor, Ted Lasso, and Shrinking.

Vaughn may also be starring in a sequel to one of his earlier hits soon.
