Don Johnson revealed that he is collaborating on a production with his former mother-in-law, the Hollywood icon Tippi Hedren.
The 74-year-old Miami Vice alum — who was married to Tippi’s daughter Melanie Griffith twice — shared an adorable Instagram photo on Wednesday featuring himself and the 94-year-old Birds actress.
In the snapshot, the two stars, who previously appeared together in the 1973 film The Harrad Experiment, are beaming with joy.
Don, dressed in a bright yellow jacket and red baseball cap, leans in towards Tippi, who looks effortlessly chic in a turquoise ensemble while holding onto his arm.
‘Beautiful….my co-star, Tippy Hedren,’ the handsome actor captioned the post.

It’s unclear which production the two stars are working on, but Don is currently filming Ryan Murphy’s latest series, Doctor Odyssey, which stars Joshua Jackson.
Tippi’s daughter Melanie shares her eldest daughter Dakota, 34, as well as stepson Jesse Johnson, 40, with her first husband Don.
Melanie and Don were married for several months in 1976, and again from 1989 until 1996.
The Working Girl alum was later married to Steven Bauer from 1981 until 1989. Their son Alexander, 38, was born in 1985.
She went on to marry Antonio Banderas in 1996, and they welcomed their daughter Stella, 27, that same year.
Tippi wed Melanie’s father, advertising executive Peter Griffith, in 1952. The couple welcomed their daughter in 1957.
Six years later, Hitchcock cast Tippi in the lead role of Melanie Daniels in his timeless thriller The Birds.
The film catapulted her to stardom, but it was her professional and personal relationship with the renowned director that would forever alter the course of her life.

Reportedly, Hitchcock became obsessed with her, and working with the director took a heavy toll on her mental well-being, per The New Yorker.
Over the years, Melanie and Tippi have nurtured a strong bond, occasionally gracing the screen together and making joint appearances on red carpets.
In 2016, during the 2nd Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards in Los Angeles, Griffith was honored with the timeless beauty award.
During her acceptance speech, she graciously dedicated the accolade to her mother. Addressing the audience, Griffith expressed, ‘Really, I would like to say that this should be for my mom.

More recently, Don has appeared in films such as Book Club, alongside Jane Fonda, and Knives Out, with Jamie Lee Curtis.
