But Paris Jackson appeared a little on the shy side when she arrived in Australia on Monday ahead of her appearance at the Melbourne Cup. 

The daughter of King of Pop Michael, covered her face as she walked out of Melbourne airport.

The 19-year-old, who was flanked by airport staff and her entourage, was quickly ushered to an awaiting car. 

Wearing a pair of jeans, a knitted sweater and some moccasin-style boots, Paris looked prepared for the chilly conditions.

With her hair up in a casual bun, she appeared to be makeup free and had on a pair of reading glasses.

Paris is in town as an international VIP guest of Myer at the Melbourne Cup. 

Speaking to the Herald Sun ahead of her visit, she gushed: ‘It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Australia.’

Meanwhile, the teen modelling sensation is currently carving out a lucrative career in the entertainment industry.

The multi-talented teenager has already covered Rolling Stone and Vogue, and she also landed the cover of Australia’s Stellar magazine last week.

Inside, the model, actress, and social justice warrior says that despite her fame and success, she’s still just as flawed as anybody else.

‘I make it very clear that I am flawed because I think it’s important to show others that,’ she explains.

‘Sure, I have a highlight reel like everyone else in the industry, but I’m also definitely still a human being with a sloppy behind-the-scenes.’

In addition to her career as a world famous model, Paris is now enjoying a skyrocketing acting career.

The beauty previously said that the role was ‘a good way for me to show my acting capabilities.’
