A cyclist who was caught ‘dabbing’ on a Google Streetview image has attracted an army of fans across the world.

When the cyclist spotted the Google Streetview camera on Cecil Place in Melbourne in December last year, he decided to take advantage of the opportunity and ‘dab’ – a dance move which became a global craze in 2016.

The images went viral on Wednesday when Twitter user ‘Aight’ shared the images with the caption: ‘This man caught the Google maps bus and dabbed down the entire length of this street’.

The tweet went viral, attracting 76,500 likes and 37,000 shares and 360 comments.

‘He’s the hero we both deserve and need right now. Dab goals,’ one man said.

‘He trained all his life for this moment,’ one woman said.

The original poster replied to the outpouring of support by saying: ‘The absolute madman. What a legend’.
