A father-of-six was confronted by three armed bandits who kicked down his door ready to storm in and rob his house.
But Glenn Raven stared them down and chased them out of his Melbourne home, even after one of them pointed a gun at his chest at 7.30am on Monday.
He even tried to detain one of them but was cut in his stomach and punched in the head as the robbers fled without any of the loot they hoped for.

‘I asked them why are you here, and they said, “we are here to take your stuff”,’ he told 9 News.
‘And I said, you’re not taking me stuff and you’re not going to shoot me with that gun, so f**k off.’
Meanwhile, his wife Catherine huddled inside and called police, reporting three intruders of white and African appearance.
The family believed the trio planned to steal the family car and make off with anything they could load into it.

‘It was rather scary, but I guess we live to tell the tale. It could have been worse,’ Mr Raven said.
‘You’re not secure in your own home and that’s really scary.’
Mr Raven’s suburb of Clyde North, in Melbourne’s southeast, is a burglary hotspot according to latest crime figures from the RACV.
