Melbourne man tells off passenger for clipping fingernails

  • Commuter was upset a fellow train passenger was clipping his fingernails
  • Filmed himself telling the man off and calling him ‘bogan trash’ on the train
  • ‘Don’t you think you should do that in the privacy of your own home?’ he said

A commuter was looking to save some time by clipping his fingernails on the train as it travelled across Melbourne.

But a fellow passenger took exception to the unsightly personal grooming and decided to give him a telling off.

The unhappy commuter took out his mobile phone to film the confrontation, and posted it online earlier this week.

‘Don’t you think you should do that in the privacy of your own home?’ he told the man as he happily clipped away on the seat over from him.

A passenger was upset a man was cutting his fingernails on a Melbourne train and told him off, calling him ‘bogan trash’ and saying he should do it in the privacy of his home instead

‘You bogan trash,’ he added after the man simply gave him a toothy grin.

It seemed to have the desired effect, however, as he put away his clipper and picked up the pruned nails from on top of his blue jacket.

The angry passenger continued to lash out as he posted the footage online.

‘Bogan trash on Melbourne’s 4th world dirty over priced over crowded joke of a public transport service,’ he wrote.

Despite the commuter just giving him a toothy grin, it seemed to have the desired effect, as he put away his clipper and picked up the pruned nails from on top of his blue jacket.
