A well-humoured television reporter has shared the hilarious moment she fell over just moments before a live cross.

Emily Angwin, a Seven News journalist from Melbourne, was standing outside AFL HQ preparing for her segment on Thursday evening when she stumbled on more than just her script.

‘So he’s been working with new…’ Ms Angwin says before repeatedly swinging her arms and toppling over.

The reporter, to her credit, posted the footage herself through her Facebook account, which has been viewed nearly 30,000 times, and her twitter account, which has since been liked more than 1,200 times.

‘Too good not to share. Tripped over nothing but no injuries to report,’ she added to the video.

The Carlton presenter’s well-natured post was met warmly by followers, with many thanking her for sharing the hilarious footage.

‘Being able to laugh at yourself is an endearing quality not many have,’ one person tweeted. 

‘This is so oustanding,’ another social media user said.

‘Good move. Get it out there before someone else does,’ said another.

It is not known whether Ms Angwin was able to continue reporting on the news that evening.
