Melissa Gorga is selling her Montville mansion for $3.5M

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is selling her sprawling mansion for $3.5million.

The reality star and her husband Joe, both 38, will officially put their 9,000-square-foot Montville mansion on the market on Monday, according to NJ.com.

The extravagant home in the Morris County township, which sits on more than two acres of land, has six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half-bathrooms, and also includes a two-story library, a gym, and a Hampton-style pool.

It should come as no surprise that the home of the couple, who take pride in their entertaining abilities, features a movie theater, billiards room, a room with a bar, a custom lounge and a wine boutique, and the On Display singer clearly put her touch on the mansion, which has a hair salon and a recording studio.

The couple purchased the home in 2007 for $950,000, per property records, but announced they would be leaving for Franklin Lakes and rent out the home in 2012.  Shortly after, they got tangled in a legal battle with the tenant, who argued he was keeping payments from the Gorgas because Joe had failed to make promised repairs.

The family then moved back into the Montville home, and put the ‘dream home’ they had built in Franklin Lakes up for sale, before ever having lived in it, and it’s unclear where they’re headed to next.
