The Metropolitan Police will be taking ‘no further action’ into the alleged sex crimes of Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein, it has been revealed.

The force said after conducting two reviews and reviewing recent material into multiple claims that young women had been groomed or abused in the UK by the royal and Epstein they would be dropping their investigation. 

It comes after it was revealed the Duke of York, 61, was being sued in New York by Virginia Giuffre, now 38, who claims he sexually abused her on three separate occasions when she was 17 — in London, New York and on billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s Caribbean island.
