‘Mexican trash!’ Woman who owns Breaking Bad house filmed hurling abuse outside Walter White house

‘Get out of here, you Mexican trash!’ Woman who owns Breaking Bad house is filmed hurling abuse and berating tourists outside Walter White’s iconic property

  • A woman who lives at the house used as Walter White’s home in Breaking Bad called visitors passing by ‘Mexican trash’ in a video which surfaced online
  • The video was just the latest in a long line of clips showing the homeowners slinging abuse at visitors, who they have had to put up fences to keep out
  • The Albuquerque, New Mexico, home is owned by Frances Padilla and her family, who allowed the show to film there and said they had a great time doing it
  • It is unclear whether or not Padilla is the resident in the vulgar clip, but she has been outspoken in local media asking people to behave if they visit

One of the owners of the New Mexico house prominently featured in Breaking Bad was filmed slinging racist slurs at a car of tourists driving by.

A clip posted to TikTok showed a man and woman cruising by the house and greeting a white-haired woman standing in the driveway, who responded by yelling ‘Get out, you Mexican trash!’

The couple in the car said they weren’t Mexican, then honked their horn and kept driving. The white-haired woman could then be heard responding ‘Oh yeah, blow your horn like an a**hole.’

It is not the first time the owners of the Walter White’s home have got into altercations with Breaking Bad fans, as a litany of clips online show them shouting abuse at visitors and telling them to move on.

The home is owned by Frances Padilla, whose family has lived there for at least forty years.

Padilla agreed to let Breaking Bad film there in 2008, an experience which she told KOAT was ‘six years of fun with the nicest people she has ever met.’

The fun ended, however, when tourists began showing up in droves to pay homage to the House of Heisenberg, with the more brazen among them waltzing up onto the property, attempting to scale fences into the back yard, and attempting to or succeeding in reenacting the show scene where Walter White tosses a large pepperoni pizza onto the garage roof.

‘Most people are respectful, and we appreciate that. It’s the jerks that ruin it for everybody,’ she said in 2016.

Padilla has since put a fence in to keep trespassers out, installed security cameras to catch those who make it in, and lines the street in front of her house with cones to keep people from parking there. The house is even blurred out on Google Street View.

She told Time magazine in 2013 that she sometimes saw up to 200 visitors passing by the house per day.

The problem has grown so bad that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan even issued a statement asking fans to leave Padilla alone.

‘There is nothing original, or funny, or cool, about throwing a pizza on this lady’s roof,’ he said in a Better Call Saul podcast.

‘She is the sweetest lady in the world, and if you are getting on her nerves you are doing something seriously f**king wrong.’

It is unclear whether or not Padilla is the home resident in the ‘Mexican trash’ video, but it seems she and her fellow homeowners are finally at their wits end.

Scores of videos across TikTok and Instagram show residents at the house getting into verbal altercations with visitors on the street, and tossing them rude hand gestures as they pass by.

In one clip, a home resident can be heard repeating ‘get the h**l out of here’ to a man posing in front of the house on the street.

‘It’s the old people are a pain in the ass,’ she says, then repeats ‘just get the h**l out, you’re rude,’ as the man talks back to her.
