A Florida cop has been placed on administrative duties after he pretended to arrest three half-naked models in a scripted video shared to Instagram.
The Miami Beach Police Department’s Internal Affairs unit launched an investigation into Officer William Beeker on Monday, just hours after the raunchy clip was uploaded to social media.
The footage shows the scantily-clad women, including Playboy model Francia James, being marched towards Miami Beach police station by Beeker.
The trio – who are wearing handcuffs and little else – then arrive at the precinct’s front doors where they line up with their backs towards the camera.
Officer Beeker, who is dressed in full police uniform, is seen looking the women up and down before the clip cuts off.

‘Do you like bad girls or good girls? Who’s gonna bail us out?’ Francia James captioned the clip, which has been viewed more than 644,000 times on her account.
The clip was also posted by the other models, and has now collectively been viewed more than 1.4 million times.
Francia later shared a separate video to her Instagram Stories, which shows the women with their handcuffs unlocked as they stand around Officer Beeker while he sits proudly atop a police quad bike.
‘Thank you Officer Bill for letting us go,’ the trio coo.
‘No problem, enjoy the community! I like to protect and serve,’ the cop responds, before he speeds off on the vehicle.
Shortly after the videos were posted, a police spokesperson released a statement saying: ‘On Monday, October 7th the Department was made aware of a video posted to social media.

Chief Richard Clements immediately launched an Internal Affairs investigation and placed Officer William Beeker in an administrative capacity while the investigation takes its course.’
Social media reaction to the video has been divided, with locals sharing their opinions beneath a Twitter post on the incident shared by 7News reporter Sheldon Fox.
‘Are all Police Departments scraping the bottom of the barrel when hiring officers?’ one asked, before adding: ‘If there’s a shortage of decent Americans willing to do the job of law enforcement, bring in some refugees and immigrants. They’re decent, & they’ll gladly do the work.’
However, others thought an investigation was an overreaction.
‘Out all of scandal these days … this is actually pretty light and almost a non-issue,’ one stated.
