The Miami Dolphins took the early trip to Germany to get repetitions in as they were pictured training in Europe Wednesday.

Scheduled to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Dolphins posted pictures of their practice in Frankfurt on Wednesday afternoon.

‘Different country, same grind,’ the Dolphins captioned on X (formerly Twitter).

The game will take place at Frankfurt Stadium and is the fourth installment in the NFL’s international series for 2023.

While the Dolphins are getting warmed up and acclimated to the conditions overseas, the opposing Chiefs will not be landing in Germany until Friday.

Following a 24-9 loss to the Denver Broncos that broke the Chiefs’ six-game win streak, tight end Travis Kelce said he looks forward to playing overseas at a critical point in the season.

‘Huge game next week, a lot of commotion and Super Bowl-like media,’ Kelce said on the New Heights podcast. ‘To focus on the job at hand is going to be f***ing critical. It’s a point of the season where we be the team we think we are or it is going to get tougher.’

The AFC West leaders share a 6-2 record with the Dolphins who are on top of the AFC East.

Dolphins safety Jevon Holland rejoined the team in Frankfurt after being cleared from concussion protocol.

Holland, who has the second most tackles for Miami this season, took a helmet-to-helmet collision in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on October 22 and missed Sundays win over the Patriots.

While the Dolphins try to get a head start, Kelce seems unfazed by the Chiefs’ decision to travel overseas closer to game day.

‘I’m ready to move on from last week and get this train rolling,’ Kelce added. ‘We leave Thursday, fly overnight get there Friday, get a good practice in and get acclimated to the German area and everything.

‘You are always gonna juggle when do you go out there, do you let the guys get a whole week or do you just surprise it on guys and on your body and not necessarily get acclimated. Just go out there and play.’

Sunday’s game will not only feature two of the top teams in the NFL but a quarterback showdown between Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa. Kick off is set for 9am ET.
