Michael Clarke’s bromance with accountant Anthony Bell is over as ex cricketer replaces him with Stuart Waugh… after he stuck by him following wild Noosa park brawl

Michael Clarke has reportedly severed ties with celebrity accountant Anthony Bell.

Sources close to the ex-cricket captain confirmed last week that their financial association had concluded last year, according to The Sunday Telegraph.

The deterioration of their relationship follows a highly publicised altercation in Noosa, where Clarke’s then-girlfriend Jade Yarbrough, confronted Clarke in a park after a boozy dinner attended by Bell and Karl Stefanovic.

The incident is believed to have tested the friendship, and by May 2023, it was evident that the Clarke-Bell bond was strained.

By October, Clarke had moved his financial matters to a new accountant, Stuart Waugh, a former partner of Bell’s.

Waugh, now a director and shareholder of Altus Financial, has taken over from Bell, who owed much of his reputation as Sydney’s ‘celebrity accountant’ to his association with Clarke.

Clarke had often supported Bell’s ventures, from Sydney to Hobart yacht races to charitable events.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Michael Clarke and Anthony Bell for comment.

The viral video of the Noosa incident shows Yarbrough accusing Clarke of sleeping with his former girlfriend Pip Edwards on December 17, and messaging her to say she is the ‘love of his life’.

Clarke was screamed at and slapped by his furious girlfriend as others in the group, including Stefanovic and Bell, try to defuse the fracas.

‘I’m wrong? I’m f**king wrong! You’re a f***ing liar. I can see everything. You called her,’ she screams, apparently referring to messages between Clarke and Edwards.

At one point, Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine eventually steps in and grabs her distressed sister by the arm and drags her away.

Jasmine can be heard saying: ‘Get away with Karl, get away with Karl.’

As she is led away, Yarbrough can be heard crying as she turns to Clarke and howls: ‘I f**king hate you.’

Clarke then tries to follow Yarbrough before he unleashes a wave of fury at Stefanovic, seemingly because he is walking away with the two sisters.

‘Karlos, I can tell you now c**t, don’t you f**king walk away. She can, she can punch me, but you, you c**t,’ Clarke says.

This comment sparks fury from Yarbrough, who defends her brother-in-law before slapping Clarke repeatedly in the face.

Stefanovic and Bell can be heard telling the couple to stop, which falls on deaf ears.

A remorseful Clarke has since taken full responsibility for what happened.
