Nearly decade-old domestic abuse claims against Michael Fassbender have resurfaced, as the actor’s ex-girlfriend alleged in a court filing that he became violent with her on at least two occasions.
Sunawin Andrews, 44, sought a protective order against the actor in March 2010, alleging two instances where Fassbender, 40, caused her serious injury, according to Los Angeles court papers obtained by DailyMail.com.
The model claimed the X-Men star threw her over a chair, breaking her nose in 2009 because a drunk Fassbender was angry that she had woke him up.
Andrews also detailed a second fit of violence that same year when an enraged Fassbender allegedly dragged her with his car because her ex-boyfriend said hello to them at dinner.
The altercation left her with vaginal bleeding, a twisted ankle, blown out knee cap and a ruptured ovarian cyst and amounted to $24,000 in medical bills, according to court papers.
Despite these past allegations, Fassbender’s reputation has gone on largely unscathed, and he tied the knot in secret with actress Alicia Vikander in October.
The newlywed opened up about their normally private life, gushing about how ‘sweet’ Fassbender is and revealed that ‘she’s more happy and content than ever’.

Andrews filed the petition to the Los Angeles Superior Court on March 12, 2010, although she reported the last date of Fassbender’s alleged abuse occurred in November 18, 2009.
It is unclear what prompted her to file the protective order months after the last incident.
The model wrote that she was seeking the court order while Fassbender was ‘shooting films’ outside the country, mentioning he would be back soon.
Andrews said she was living alone with her two children, who were aged 18 and three at the time. She wrote she ‘was afraid for her safety’, wanting Fassbender to stay at least 100 yards away from them.

‘As we got closer to my house I put my car in stop. Got out walked around the car to pull key from ignition. Michael drove of[f] dragging me along from the car.
‘He stopped after he realized I could not walk and got out of car. He picked me up and put me in car as my friends pulled up behind us. They stayed the night to help calm things.’

Andrews also alleged that in July 2009, Fassbender (pictured in 2008) became violent with her after a night of drinking. She wrote that she found the actor ‘sleeping in urine’ and when she tried to wake him up, ‘he began to be violent and threw me over a chair, breaking my nose’

Andrews details a second incident in July 2009, where Fassbender allegedly became violent with her after a night of drinking.
Although she didn’t specify the event, photo records indicate that she most likely was talking about a film and musical festival held in Ischia, Italy.
Andrews wrote that Fassbender was receiving an award at the event and began drinking heavily after the ceremony.
She ended up going to bed but was woken up by Fassbender and a friend around 5am when the drunk pair tried to climb into bed with her, the petition states.
Andrews claimed that she proceeded to check into another room and returned in the morning to wake Fassbender because he was speaking on a panel.

Andrews continued: ‘I woke him and he began to be violent and threw me over a chair, breaking my nose.’
