Michelle Bridges snaps up $2.7 million country property

She’s built a successful fitness empire selling everything from ready made health meals to activewear.

And now Michelle Bridges is reaping the rewards of her hard work, purchasing a sprawling Southern Highlands mansion in NSW for $2.7 million.

Domain reports the former Biggest Loser host snapped up the property after outbidding celebrity chef Luke Mangan.

According to the publication, Michelle paid $2.7 million for the sprawling mansion, which had a price guide of $2.4 to $2.5 million.

Sources said that Michelle and Luke had been ‘fighting it out’ while bidding for the property and pushed the price ‘well above’ the price guide. 

The fitness guru emerged victorious from the real estate fight and is understood to be using the property as a weekender for her and partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis and their son, two-year-old Axel.

The property was last purchased in 2004 for $1.14 million. 

Besides using the new home as a weekend getaway, Michelle, Steve and Axel will continue to reside in their inner Sydney city apartment.

Michelle purchased their three bedroom pad, located in the ritzy suburb of Elizabeth Bay, for $2.9 million in 2013.

Michelle’s new home purchase comes as she celebrate Axel’s second birthday last week.

Sharing a sweet photo of the toddler sitting on Steve’s shoulders, Michelle gushed about the different her son had made in her life.

‘Happy Birthday little boo…. I cant believe it’s been 2 years since you were in my belly thank you for choosing to come into our world forever grateful,’ Michelle captioned the sweet photo.
